Port Marine Circulars (PMCs)
Singapore MPA ( Maritime Port And Authority) is empowered to draw up regulations, issue sirculars and notices to regulate the activities in the port so as to ensure the safety of the port and protect its marine environment.
MPA issues the Port Marine Circulars (PMCs) to effect changes or to inform the shipping community of any new or amended port regilations on the folowing :
Port Marine Notices (PMC)
Singapore MPA (Maritime Port And Authority) also issues Port Marine notices (PMN) to inform the shipping community of development of marine projects such as reclamation works, dredging, laying of pipelines / cables or other marine projects.
PMNs are usually valid for a year. Those PMNs concern marine project works are of 6-month validity.
